The Government of Tamilnadu is will issue orders to appoint Thiru Shanmugam IAS as the next Chief Secretary of Tamilnadu and Thiru JK Tripathy IPS as the next DGP of the state.
Both are from 1985 batch of the Civil Services. Thiru K Shanmugam has to credit of being the longest serving Finance Secretary of Tamilnadu.
