Government approved fees in Private Schools in Chennai

The Private Schools Fee Determination Committee under the Authority of the School Education department of Government of Tamil nadu revises the maximum tuition fee that the school is allowed to charge the student / parent.

Currently this covers only matriculation schools following the syllabus laid down by the state of Tamil nadu. This was started by the Government appointed committee under the chairmanship of Justice Thiru S.R Singaravelu in 2012.
