This week we take a look at the educational qualifications of some of our tamil movie stars. This could come as an inspiration to many as many stars completed college!
Kamalahaasan
Ulaganayagan Kamalahaasan is bestowed by so many doctorates.
Rajnikanth
Superstar Rajnikanth did his schooling at Acharya Patasala followed by Vivekananda Balak Sangh, a unit of Ramakrisna Mission. Later during 1973 he studied at Madras Film Institute.
Ajith
Ajith dropped out of Asan Memorial Senior Secondary School in 1986 before completing his higher secondary. He took up work as a two-wheeler auto mechanic, and got himself a driver’s license to coincide with his interests in car and bike racing.
Vijay
Vijay studied at Balalok Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Virugambakkam, Chennai and Secondary studies at Loyola College in Chennai.
Surya
Surya did his schooling at Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan at Coimbatore and St.Bede’s School in Chennai. Then he did his graduation in B.com from Loyola College one of prestigious institutions in Chennai.
Karthi
Karthi was educated at Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan, and later at St. Bede’s Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School, Chennai. He gained a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Crescent Engineering College, Chennai. Karthi got a scholarship for his higher studies in the United States, and enrolled at Binghamton University, New York, where he earned his Master of Science in Industrial Engineering.
He attended two courses in basic film-making at State University of New York before entering films.
Vishal
Vishal obtained his secondary education from Don Bosco Matriculation Higher Secondary School before securing a degree in visual communications from Loyola College, Chennai .
Jayam Ravi
He completed his schooling at Jawahar Vidyalaya in Ashok Nagar, Chennai. He studied dancing under the Bharatnatyam dancer Nalini Balakrishnan and performed his arangetram at the age of 12. After completing his degree in Visual Communication from Loyola College, Chennai, he decided to get into the film industry. He has also undergone training in acting at the Kishore Namit Kapur Institute in Mumbai.
Arya
He did his schooling in SBOA Matriculation and Higher Secondary School, Chennai and then graduated with an engineering degree from Crescent Engineering College in Vandalur, Chennai, shifted and settled in Chennai.
